Meet Our Founder
Oluwafunmilayo Olonade
Clinical Psychologist | Qualified Behaviour Analyst | PhD Researcher | Founder & CEO, CEED Therapy
Oluwafunmilayo Olonade is a Clinical Psychologist, Qualified Behaviour Analyst, and PhD researcher with over twelve years of experience working across mental health, child development, and neurodevelopmental care.
Her journey into Applied Behaviour Analysis began with a simple but important realization: she wanted to do more for the children and families she served.
As a Clinical Psychologist, she encountered children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism, whose communication, learning, behavioural, and developmental needs called for additional evidence-based approaches. While her psychological training provided a strong foundation, she recognized the need to expand her knowledge and explore interventions that could complement her clinical work.
That search led her to Applied Behaviour Analysis.
In 2019, she began her formal ABA journey at St. Lawrence College, Canada, and later continued her training at the University of West Florida, USA. These experiences strengthened her belief that effective support is not only about understanding a child's challenges, but also about identifying their strengths, teaching meaningful skills, and equipping families and educators to make a lasting difference.
This belief is at the heart of CEED Therapy.
As Founder and CEO, Oluwafunmilayo is passionate about creating a space where children with neurodevelopmental differences can receive individualized support, while families, educators, and professionals gain the knowledge and confidence to support them effectively.
Her work as a Clinical Psychologist also extends across the lifespan. She provides psychological assessment, counselling, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults. She has a particular interest in child and adolescent mental health, family wellbeing, and psychosocial care for children and families affected by cleft lip and palate.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology, further deepening her commitment to research, professional development, and evidence-based practice. Her interests include neurodevelopmental care, caregiver support, child and adolescent mental health, and the development of practical interventions that improve outcomes for individuals and families.
Oluwafunmilayo is also passionate about research, professional training, public speaking, webinars, radio presentations, and mental health advocacy. Through these platforms, she seeks to make psychological knowledge accessible, encourage evidence-based practice, and promote more compassionate approaches to mental health and neurodevelopmental care.
CEED Therapy is more than a service; it is an expression of her commitment to empowering families, supporting children, and equipping the people who care for them.
Empower. Support. Train.
